Sony confirmed that many PlayStation 4 controllers and accessories, including racing wheels, headsets, and the PlayStation Move motion controllers, will work on PlayStation 5 and its games. But Sony’s Dualshock 4 gamepad (PS4) won’t be compatible with PS5 games. Racing wheels, arcade sticks, and flight sticks will “work with PS5 games and supported PS4 games,” Sony said. Wireless headsets that connect via USB port or audio jack, will work on PS5. And PlayStation Move controllers will work with “supported PS VR games on PS5.”
Sony also confirmed that the PS4’s PlayStation Camera will be compatible with PS5, but will require an adapter “that will be provided at no additional cost to PS VR users.
MTM's accessories are so compatible with PS5 consoles including Wheels, Controllers and Headsets previously developed for PS4. The only limitation will be on the game controller which will be compatible with PS5 only playing PS4 games. The new Dual Sense controller has functions not present in DualShock 4 controller that will activate specific commands only possible on PS5.
